Haldrington Brands LLC Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Haldrington Brands LLC is a privately held American holding company committed to ethical business practices and the highest standards of human rights. This statement is made pursuant to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1714.43) for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. It outlines the steps we have taken to ensure that modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, or any form of exploitation does not occur in our operations or supply chains.

Company Structure and Operations

Haldrington Brands LLC operates as a holding company, owning and licensing intellectual property for pet products, including our flagship brands Dogetas® and Collabone®. Our operations are based in the United States, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution through affiliated entities. We source ingredients and produce our treats in our own ICA- and FDA-registered facility in Bogotá, Colombia, which we acquired in 2024. This facility handles the full production process for our products, from raw material selection (e.g., trout trimmings and sweet potatoes) to finished treats. Our supply chain is limited and vertically integrated, primarily involving Colombian agricultural suppliers for sustainable, local ingredients.

Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, child labor, or any human rights abuses. Our Code of Conduct, Supplier Standards, and Employee Handbook explicitly prohibit these practices and require compliance with international standards, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. All employees and suppliers must acknowledge and adhere to these policies, with violations resulting in immediate termination of relationships.

Due Diligence Processes

We conduct risk-based due diligence on our operations and supply chain. For our Colombian facility, this includes:

  • On-site audits by independent third parties to verify labor conditions, wages, and working hours.

  • Supplier questionnaires and certifications ensuring fair labor practices, with a focus on agricultural sources for our ingredients.

  • Background checks and contract clauses mandating anti-slavery compliance, including the right to unannounced inspections.

In 2025, we performed initial audits on our Bogotá facility and key suppliers, confirming no indicators of exploitation.

Risk Assessment and Management

Our supply chain risks are low due to our integrated structure and focus on Colombia, where we directly own and operate the facility. We assess potential vulnerabilities, such as seasonal agricultural labor, using tools like the ILO Forced Labour Indicators. Identified risks are mitigated through training, monitoring, and supplier diversification if needed. No instances of modern slavery were identified in 2025.

Training and Capacity Building

All Haldrington Brands employees and facility managers in Colombia receive annual training on recognizing and reporting signs of modern slavery and human trafficking. In 2025, we trained 100% of our staff, including on-site personnel, using resources from the ILO and local NGOs.

Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

We monitor compliance through regular audits, employee hotlines, and supplier self-assessments. Any concerns are reported confidentially and investigated promptly. We commit to ongoing improvements and will update this statement annually.
